Mode of Action: SCUD 5%WP is a non-systemic insecticide with contact and stomach action (via ingestion and direct contact). It interferes with normal production and conduction of nerve signals in the nervous system. MODE OF ACTION: Alpha-cypermethrin is a broad-spectrum insecticide, which acts as a Sodium channel modulator by prolonging the opening of sodium channel, a major site of its action, leading to hyper-excitation of the central nervous system and modulates chloride, voltage-gated calcium and potassium channels causing DNA damage and oxidative stress in the neuronal cells and modulates the level of neurotransmitters. It is highly residual and of low toxicity to humans and domestic animals. It is suitable for use in domestic premises. HALT NEO 5%WP
HALT NEO 5%WP is a Biological Insecticide for the control of Fall Armyworm on Maize; Thrips, African Bollworm on French beans; Caterpillars on roses and Diamond backmoth on Cabbages. Mode of Action It works as a stomach poison to larvae by causing gut paralysis followed by septicemia (blood poisoning). Upon biting a leaf treated with HALT NEO 5% WP, the larvae stop feeding, become sluggish & discoloured and eventually die within 3-5 days. It is suited for IPM programmes. DIRECTION FOR USE Half fill the spray-tank with water, and then mix the required amount of HALT NEO 5% WP with a little water to prepare a uniform suspension. Add this suspension to the spray tank & top-up to the required amount of water. Spray the crop thoroughly to ensure good coverage. A spreader /sticker or surfactant can be added. NIMBECIDINE
NIMBECIDINE is a neem-oil-based botanical insecticide containing Azadirachtin and other limonoids including Meliantriol, Salanin, Nimbin, and a host of other terpenoids in the ratio as it occurs naturally in neem. Active Ingredient: AzadirachtinAzadirachtin is Neem trees main agent for battling insects. Azadirachtin is structurally similar to insect hormones called “ecdysones” which control the process of metamorphosis, in this case azadirachtin is an “ecdysone blocker” It blocks the insects production and release of the vital hormones for growth & reproduction. In addition to inhibiting growth, it also repels insects even at very small amounts. Limonoids – Phytochemicals of the triterpenoid class, they demonstrate the ability to block insect growth. Melantriol – Is a feeding inhibitor, even at very low concentrations it causes cessation of feeding in insects. Salanin – Feeding inhibitor but does not influence insects molts. Nimbin & Nimbidin – Have anti-viral activity i.e controls various viral diseases in crops & even in livestock. Modes of Action 1. Antifeedant: decreases the motility of the gut & blocks ability to swallow. 2. Repellant: Repels larvaes and adults at low dosage. 3. Ovi-position Deterrent: Deter female from laying eggs & inhibits the development of the eggs. 4. Insect Growth Regulator: Disrupts mating & blocks the molting of larvae or nymphs. 5. Sterilant: Adult insects become sterile.
